Route 24 Haunted Attraction
1717 E Us Highway 24
Piper City, IL 60959

Visibility / Location:

The GPS took us straight there. There was a sign out front and some blinking lights.

Wait Entertainment:

A very nice man who I'm assuming was the owner invited us inside the barn to wait. We stood there and chatted with him while we waited. There were also some props in that room including a jumping spider, casket, skeletons and a corpse on a rotisserie rod.

Event Length:

Outdoor Maze: 5 Minutes
Haunted Barn: 8.5 Minutes

Since people move through haunted attractions at different rates, your time will vary. Note: The time shown here represents the actual time spent moving forward through the attraction. Time spent waiting in queue lines, staging areas, intro scenes, rules rooms and when traffic jams cause patrons to come to a halt, has been subtracted.

LPR Score = 7.714

Scare Factor:

Crowd Control:

The crowd control was perfect! We never ran into any other groups inside of the attractions and were able to go at our own pace.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This one was actually pretty great! It's not a mega haunt but the actors and props made it feel like one. We actors went back and forth between the maze and the barn depending on which one had people waiting. We went though the maze first. It was small but there was plenty of action to keep it interesting.

The barn was really cool. Just when we thought it was over an actor swung open a door and told us to find the baby in the kitchen. We went backwards tough the rooms until we found the kitchen. We found the baby who happened to have two heads. We were then told to take the baby to the fireplace. We went back though the rooms and found the fireplace and were told to set the baby on the fireplace and wait for the key. The key was delivered and we continued on to the end again. We were let out because we had the key. It was kind of a scavenger hunt that made it more interesting and extended the time inside.
