Summary:

This attraction consisted of both The Haunt at Bone Saw Mill, and The Freak Show.

The Haunt at Bone Saw Mill was a complete blood bath! There was blood and body parts everywhere! My favorite scene was the operation in progress, where bloodied body parts were being pulled out of a body cavity right before your eyes, and very realistically done I might add! There were body parts swaying from the ceiling, bloody tools scattered across the room, and did I mention the blood?! Yes... it was everywhere! In another room, the Butcher's Kitchen, you find a table set for two, with a decapitated head being served on a platter, and bloody organs chilling in the fridge, and yes, the Butcher. He looked like he had jumped right out of a scary movie! The costumes were very well done in this attraction. Very realistic. Very scary. I also enjoyed the red and white streamers that filled the hallways. With the use of strobe lights, movement almost seemed in slow motion. It was a very neat effect. There was also a lot of real machinery and equipment left from the actual Saw Mill, which made for wonderful props. There were a lot of jump scares too. This was a great attraction. A blood filled mess. I really enjoyed it!

The Freak Show is a haunted trail that follows upon exit of haunted house, and is easily the best and scariest haunted trail I have ever encountered. I felt like I had been transplanted smack dab in the middle of a very scary movie. It was eerie... it was scary... it was fun! There we're several favorites for me in the Freak Show. One was the twin girl clowns, wielding weapons and holding hands, as they skipped down the trail towards me. It definitely made you take pause for a moment and reassure yourself that you wasn't really in danger. Then there was the big (no, ginormous) guy with whited out eyes and huge teeth... who leaned so far in when he talked to you, you could feel his hot breath across your face. I almost did a back bend trying to get away from him! I also enjoyed how they played on your senses. Carnival music playing in the background, laughter and rustling leaves in the distance, and this one creepy clown that kept popping up in the tree line, he was really freaking me out. There was also a clown walking around on stilts, and one on a trike. There were clowns everywhere... and not the friendly kind. Lots of jump scares too. They actually made my teenage daughter cry, which is not easily done, unless you have a chainsaw, which they did.

Both attractions were great! Super scary and just down right fun! I think I've found a new favorite! Great job, two thumbs up. I'll definitely be revisiting soon!
